Columbus– The Central Ohio Transit Authority has awarded a new contract to Alterra to handle the property management and leasing of seven COTA owned facilities, including offices, child care facilities, retail centers, transit centers and a newly constructed 104,000 square-foot paratransit faclity beginning December 1, 2010.

“We are so pleased to be working with COTA on the management and leasing of their facilities and feel as though we will bring significant value to COTA by way of reducing their management expenses and aggressively marketing any vacant spaces in their buildings. Alterra’s approach to management is very hands-on, which allows us to closely monitor costs and ensure the buildings are running smoothly and efficiently at all times," said Brad Kitchen, President of Alterra.
